Paintings, Pies, and Pumpkins.

Its that time of year again.  And I live right smack-dab in the thick of Halloween Central so its very very very exciting.

The decorations have been out for weeks already.  Weeks.  It gets dark so early now and takes forever to get light in the morning as well, which means its really happening, this changeover-to-the-spookytime.

My plan is to just keep painting.

My littlest helper ate waay too much SheBySheeba and couldn't get off Shaggy Rug, so I had to go it alone yesterday morning.  You'll have that.

This little watercolour is about the trees, specifically the Wayne trees.  Aren't they fabulous right now!??!

If you're alive I'll bet you're busy today because this is such a busy time of the year.  Buuuuuuussssssyyy.  Its like pulling a tooth to paint a picture around here. Lots to do.

This past weekend was spent helping our Lodi youngsters paint pumpkins.  This one stole my heart:

In addition to the pumpkin-paintings, I helped to bake Apple Pies.  I tried to get creative with the decs.

They turned out so pretty.  I'm not sure why I don't bake pies every single day. Instant happiness.

This quote was added to this wrinkley watercolour from last week.  Did I show it already??  Oh I can't remember.  Anyways, here it is with the quote.

The to-do list is getting things crossed off so there'll be paintings galore from here on out.  At least that's my goal:-)
