It's Summer.

The Hosta's were even prettier today.

They're everywhere, all around the trees.  I won't bore you with more pictures, you're welcome.

But this, now this is real excitement...The electric company guys came with their big bucket trucks and did some power pole work.  It involved cranes and chain saws and trucks.  Beats me what-the-heck they did, but I watched it happen.  Is it wrong that I sat in my lawn chair in the shade with an iced tea and watched the action?  You know its summertime when you catch yourself doing that.

Looking back, I am kicking myself for not sketching this.  I blew a perfect opportunity.  Tomorrow,  I will be with it.  I'm going back into sketch-mode.
